Parent volunteers and teachers have been busy getting the school ready for students to return on August 19. We’ve added and expanded the school’s porches, so we can have classes outdoors as much as possible for safety. Current and former students helped prepare the new sandbox and paint the porches. Hunter Edwards, Jim Thompson, Dave Larson, and Kevin Urbanczyk took down a 35-year-old, almost-dead tree, which offered a teachable moment about tree-ring counting.
